What the service includes
Work capacity assessment
We assess the person's current functional capacity against the specific physical and cognitive demands of their role, identifying the gap and what is needed to bridge it safely.
Graded return to work planning
We develop a structured, evidence-based plan for safely increasing hours and duties over time — manageable for the person and practical for the employer.
Workplace assessment
We assess the physical work environment, identify ergonomic risks and recommend workstation or task modifications that support a safer and more sustainable return.
Recovery plan documentation
We complete the clinical documentation required to support ongoing treatment and funding approval, submitted on time and formatted to the relevant body's requirements.
Employer and team liaison
We work directly with the employer, GP and treating team to ensure the return to work plan is understood, agreed and practical to implement from day one.
Goal-directed therapy
Where capacity needs to be built before a return is possible, we deliver targeted therapy sessions focused on the specific strength, endurance and skills the role requires.
- An injured worker who has completed acute treatment and is ready to begin a structured return to work program
- A person whose injury has affected their capacity to continue in their current role and who needs assessment to determine what is sustainable
- A situation where the employer requires documented capacity evidence before agreeing to modified duties or a phased return
- Someone who has been off work for an extended period and needs a graded, supported pathway back to employment
